Festival of small projects - Day 9

Good Friday morning everyone! Today our project of the day is really not a project - it is a...

...SURPRISE!!

 A GIVEAWAY!! YOU CAN WIN GREAT STUFF!!
So what is going on? Well I decided to participate in a blog hop! YAY! I am very excited, since it is my first blog hop and it is through a great Quilting Gallery web site:

If for some reason you didn't know about it, you really need to check it out - so much fun for quilters there! It is sort of a Quilt-central  - you can participate in a on-line, themed quilt show every week, you can find most quilt-related blogs, you can search for quilt shops or guilds if you need and much, much more fun of all kinds! Most importantly, from tomorrow, you can start a phenomenal blog hop with lots and lots of giveaways to be won, including what you see above - from ME!! :) What you see above are TWO books by one of my favorite authors and quilt designers, Joen Wolfrom, Visual Coloring and Adventures in Design, and a package of colors to play with (of course when I say colors - I mean FABRICS! :)  ) More about the whole package tomorrow!

    Joen Wolform is quite talented. I saw her slideshow when she came to Charlotte and gave a demonstration and trunk show of her work. Incredible! She has such a good eye for working with color. I need more help in this area and would love having her books. Thank you for your wonderful give away. I will be hopeful! :)
